Last night’s Holiday Party at our club was a festive time!

December 2010 040

I never got a picture with my coat off…too bad…it was a cute dress! :)

I had my fair share of champagne:

We mingled for a bit and then hit the buffet. I had a little bit of almost everything:

Salad, veggies, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, roll with butter and prime rib with horseradish. Delish!  I did go back for some more prime rib.

There’s a possibility that I went a little overboard with dessert.

What is that you ask? A pile of pound cake dipped in chocolate fondue, pecan pie and bread pudding all covered in whipped cream. I love dessert….can’t you tell?

I didn’t sleep very well last night. Could it have been the champagne? Or pile of sweets? I can’t imagine!

Breakfast was a low fat waffle covered in Barney Butter with a side of cantaloupe:

I took the kids to school and went to Cardio Muscle class. I am going to be SORE tomorrow! Ouch! But I love it. :)

I came home to finish wrapping what I hope is the last of the holiday gifts. Lunch happened at some point:

Roast beef and Swiss cheese on a bagel thin with lettuce, tomato and mustard. On the side was some carrots and hummus.

I picked up both kids and came home. I had an apple for a snack:

I decided to bake some cookies. I thought if I baked with my eggnog that I would have less to drink. I didn’t think that it would just give me more to eat.

You can find the recipe here. They are little bites of eggnog goodness. Trust me. I did make two changes: upped the eggnog to 3/4 cup and used half brown sugar and half white sugar.
